How does Dave experience ‘shed light’ or raise awareness of the issue?
By making the TV series he is spreading awareness of the issue of homelessness as many will watch the series. It is interesting and people would want to watch the series as it gives an idea to how homeless people live, not just as we see but when we don’t. We as a society care a little bit about homelessness but not a lot, which is part of the issue, so it is good for people to see how hard life really is for them, maybe it will make people care and want to help more.
